The College of Agriculture at the University of Kirkuk organized a tree-planting campaign for the gardens of Othman Faraj Mixed Primary School, located in the Shoraw area.
The Administrative Assistant of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Adnan Shakour Ahmed, explained that the campaign was carried out in cooperation with the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Equipment, the Student Activities Division, and the University Psychological Counseling Division. He noted that this initiative is part of the college’s plan to increase green spaces within school buildings.
He added that the tree-planting campaigns launched by the College of Agriculture will continue to cover all schools, reflecting the college’s commitment to promoting a culture of afforestation and encouraging environmental awareness.
