Under the patronage of the respected President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Osamah Ibrahim Ahmed, the afforestation unit in the College of Agriculture organized a seminar on afforestation in the province, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Professor Dr. Ammar Qahtan Shanoon, and the Faculty's lecturers.
The head of the afforestation unit at the college, Mrs. Omaima Abdulsamad Hassan, explained the importance of afforestation from an environmental and aesthetic perspective, as well as the most important trees suitable for planting in Kirkuk Governorate.
