The Legal Affairs Division at the College of Agriculture organized a seminar on the rights and duties of public employees under the provisions of administrative law, on the occasion of Iraqi Legislation Day, with the participation of the college’s staff.
The seminar aimed to enhance legal awareness among employees and those interested in Iraqi civil service laws by clarifying the rights and obligations of public employees, explaining the disciplinary system and its mechanisms, and highlighting the judicial guarantees established to protect employees from abuse. This contributes to achieving a balance between proper performance of public duties and safeguarding employees’ legal rights, while reinforcing the principles of justice and the rule of law in public administration.
The seminar included lectures delivered by legal specialists: Dr. Batool Ibrahim Abdulrahman, Assistant Professor Basira Abdullah Ahmed, Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Naji Hamad Al-Amrali, and Assistant Lecturer Diniz Fakhri Hassan.
