The lecturer and head of the Soil and Water Resources Department at the College of Agriculture, Assistant Professor Dr. Salah Jasim Amin, participated as a member of the committee discussing a master’s thesis by the student Raghad Farman Abdel-Sahib, majoring in economics and agricultural extension, College of Agriculture, Tikrit University.
Amin explained that the thesis he discussed dealt with studying the negative effects of desertification and salinization on the environment from the point of view of agricultural employees in Salah al-Din Governorate.
Amin added that, after extensive discussion, the committee decided to accept the thesis as part of the requirements for obtaining a master’s degree and grant the student the certificate.
