Two faculty members from the College of Agriculture, Dr. Zryak Mohammed Rostam Khan Palani and Assistant Lecturer Issam Saeed Omar, published a scientific research paper in PASSER Journal, which is indexed in Scopus and has a CiteScore of 1.1.
The researchers explained that their study examined the interactions between estrogen, testosterone, and cholesterol in Kurdish sheep and goats.
They added that the study aimed to identify the vital role of sex hormones in regulating lipid metabolism in Kurdish sheep and goats, opening prospects for practical applications in improving fertility and metabolic health through targeted nutritional strategies.
