The College of Agriculture at the University of Kirkuk hosted the inaugural meeting to announce the establishment of the Agricultural-Industrial Council, attended by academics, representatives from relevant government departments, agricultural and veterinary unions, academic and industrial agricultural institutions, and private sector stakeholders.
Assistant Professor Dr. Osamah Ibrahim Ahmed, Dean of the College, stated that the first meeting marked the official launch of the council. During the session, the council’s framework, operational system, and objectives were outlined, emphasizing its role in advancing public welfare through collaborative efforts between academia, industry, and agricultural sectors.
The council aims to foster innovation, address sector-specific challenges, and promote sustainable development in agriculture and related industries.
