Scientific Workshop at the College of Arts on Reading and Data Collection

A scientific workshop titled "Reading and Information Gathering: Importance and Mechanisms for Postgraduate Students" was held at the College of Arts, University of Kirkuk.

The workshop, conducted by Prof. Dr. Salwa Jerjis Salman, featured a comprehensive definition of reading and its various types. It also covered techniques for organizing information cards and explored diverse sources of information, including books, journals, theses, dissertations, personal interviews, tables, and datasets.

The workshop aimed to enhance the research capabilities of postgraduate students by fostering knowledge building, developing critical thinking skills, and identifying research problems. Furthermore, it sought to provide the necessary scientific material, guide the research process, and ensure the originality and academic rigor of the students' work.
