Faculty of Arts Organizes a Seminar on the Martyrdom of Imam al-Kadhim

The Continuing Education Unit at the Faculty of Arts, University of Kirkuk, in collaboration with the Department of Quranic Studies and Orientalism and the Center for Interreligious Dialogue, organized a scientific dialogue seminar titled: "Intellectual and Value-based Foundations in the Biography of Imam Musa al-Kadhim (PBUH) on the Anniversary of His Martyrdom."
The seminar featured lectures delivered by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Omar Najmuddin Inja, Asst. Lect. Ibrahim Ali Ibrahim, and Asst. Lect. Fatima Saleh Mohammed. The speakers addressed the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Musa bin Ja'far al-Kadhim (PBUH), reflecting on an honorable life filled with patience, steadfastness, and the struggle for truth. They highlighted his defense of justice and human dignity in the face of injustice and tyranny. The lectures emphasized how the Imam embodied the highest meanings of faith, tolerance, and wisdom, serving as an eternal example of endurance, restraining anger, and supporting the oppressed, until he attained the honor of martyrdom while remaining firm in his principles—standing as a timeless symbol of sacrifice and devotion.
