In its third edition, the Veterinary Medicine Department organizes the activities of the Read Initiative

As part of the third edition of the "Read" initiative, launched by the President of Kirkuk University, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Professor Dr. Shahd Abbas Al-Attar, the college library organized several diverse activities.

Under the slogan "Research Engineering and Cataloging Intelligence," the library department organized an initiative to promote a culture of reading, develop students' intellectual abilities, and encourage them to enhance their scientific and cognitive skills. This initiative aims to contribute to building a conscious and creative university student capable of excellence.

The initiative aimed to enable students to extract three medical terms from primary sources, conduct a "Golden Line Marathon" by selecting and documenting the best scientific sentence from books, hold a paper mind mapping workshop to transform complex chapters into visual drawings, and participate in various other scientific activities that contributed to developing students' reading skills.
