Under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Professor Dr. Shahd Abbas Al-Attar, and based on the principle of cooperation between state institutions and within the activities of veterinarians at the College of Veterinary Medicine, the veterinary staff at the college conducted the monthly periodic examination of a group of K9 police dogs belonging to the Counter-Terrorism Service in Kirkuk Governorate. After conducting the necessary clinical and laboratory examinations, it was found that they do not suffer from any type of disease and their health condition is good. The trainers were also instructed to follow veterinary instructions and guidelines to avoid contracting diseases or experiencing a deficiency of salts and vitamins, and to emphasize the need to follow a healthy and precise diet to maintain them. It is worth mentioning that all health and treatment services are provided free of charge.
