Tree-Planting Campaign at the College of Arts to Enhance Green Spaces and Protect the Environment

As part of the National Tree Planting Day initiative, the College of Arts organized a voluntary afforestation campaign within the college gardens. The campaign was supervised by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Omer Najmuddin Inja, with the participation of several faculty members and staff.
The campaign involved planting a variety of saplings and plants throughout the college’s corridors and gardens. The goal was to expand green spaces and enhance the aesthetic appeal of the university environment, contributing to environmental awareness and fostering a culture of volunteerism within the college.
This initiative reflects the college's commitment to supporting national environmental efforts and contributing to the beauty and cleanliness of the campus. It also aims to provide a healthy and motivating academic environment for students, aligning with the University of Kirkuk’s objectives of promoting social responsibility and establishing the values of environmental sustainability.
