President of the University of Kirkuk and the Governor Inaugurate the Muhi Al-Din Zangana Library at the Faculty of Arts

The President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, accompanied by the Governor of Kirkuk, Rebwar Taha, inaugurated the library of the late Iraqi writer Muhi Al-Din Zangana at the Faculty of Arts. The library was presented as a gift from his family, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Omar Najmuddin Anja, and a group of academics and intellectuals.
The inauguration ceremony included a scientific symposium titled "Muhi Al-Din Zangana: The Spring of Culture and Hearts," as well as a signing ceremony for the book "The Hero in Muhi Al-Din Zangana's Plays," authored by Assistant Professor Dr. Kuistan Najmuddin Anja.
The President of the University of Kirkuk honored the family of the deceased with the Medal of Creativity and Excellence and a letter of appreciation for enriching the university’s libraries with scientific publications and more than three thousand books, sources, and references in various fields, including poetry, literature, history, and the arts.
The event also featured the screening of a documentary video on the writer’s biography and the distribution of brochures highlighting his creative achievements.
