The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Agriculture organized an awareness seminar titled “From Classrooms to the Labor Market: Strategies for Success in Entrepreneurship and Digital Marketing,” with the attendance of the Dean of the College, as well as female staff and students.

The Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit, Dr. Zikra Ahmed Hassan, explained that the seminar was organized in cooperation with the University Psychological Counseling Division, the Continuing Education Division, and the Quality Assurance Division. She emphasized that the initiative reflects the unit’s active role in empowering women within educational institutions by raising awareness on how to enter the labor market after graduation and succeed in entrepreneurship and digital marketing. The seminar also aimed to introduce students to real-life success stories that can serve as inspiring role models.

She added that the seminar hosted Amal Hamad Ghadeer, Sales Manager and Coordinator at DXN Company for supplements and skincare, who shared her inspiring journey in entrepreneurship. She spoke about the challenges she overcame through determination and perseverance, as well as the importance of self-development in the job market.

At the conclusion of the event, and as part of an initiative to encourage perseverance, Dr. Zikra Ahmed Hassan, on behalf of the College of Agriculture’s administration, honored Amal Hamad Ghadeer in recognition of her valuable contribution. The seminar also included honoring outstanding female students of the college, celebrating them as successful and creative role models in their academic journey, and awarding them encouragement gifts to motivate them to continue striving for excellence and serving their community.
