The University of Kirkuk discusses the effect of using aqueous extract of fenugreek seeds and olive leaves on Awassi sheep

The Faculty of Agriculture discussed a master’s thesis studying the effect of using aqueous extract of fenugreek seeds and local olive leaves on the productive, hematological, biochemical and reproductive efficiency of Iraqi Awassi sheep, by Shadan Abdel-Wahhab Saleh, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sarmad Abdel-Razzaq Aboud Al-Saadi. The thesis aimed to study the effect of the extract Water of fenugreek seeds and olive leaves on the productive, biochemical and reproductive efficiency of local Awassi sheep. In this experiment, (20) Iraqi Awassi sheep were used, their ages ranged between 11-12 months, with an average weight of 48-50 kg. The animals were randomly distributed into five equal groups with four replicates in each group. The study concluded that the aqueous extract of fenugreek seeds and olive leaves led to a significant improvement in the studied traits.
