Longing for God and replying. The study aims to explain the companion’s doctrine and its impact on restricting general texts, as the companion has a great scientific status, and that he lived through the era of revelation, and the vision of the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, so the Messenger (peace and blessings of God be upon him) was the practical application of the legal texts, as he is closer to understanding the meaning of the street. Moreover, these texts are distinguished by their flexibility and breadth that make them valid for every time and place. The study concluded that the companion’s doctrine has a major role in interpreting texts and deriving rulings from them, as it restricts what was released from the texts, and allocates what was general from them, and the matter is not based on its release, but only in the texts that bear multiple facets.
