The Faculty of Law and Political Science discussed the tagged master's thesis, The Legal Center of the Foreigner in the Light of the Corona Pandemic, by student, Wasan Abbas Hammad, and supervised by A. M. Dr.. Zana Ismail Aziz. The study aimed to show the extent of the impact of the Corona virus pandemic on the legal status of the foreigner in Iraq, and to address the necessary preventive measures taken by the authorities of the countries regarding how to organize and determine the legal status of the foreigner in light of the Corona virus pandemic, as well as to identify the extent of the state’s authority in Organizing the movement of the foreigner during the crisis of the Corona Virus pandemic. In light of the Corona virus pandemic, as the exceptional circumstance, the state has absolute freedom and broad authority to regulate the status of the foreigner, as it has the right to place whatever restrictions it wants, and its freedom in this is limited only by the procedures it uses to prevent the spread of this pandemic to the people on its territory.
