Assistant professor Dr Ma'ad Assi Ali who is a lecturer at the University of Kirkuk / College of Arts / Media Department, participated in a thesis debate at the College of Media / Al-Jinan Lebanese University entitled with " The Role of Political Debate Programmes in the Iraqi Satellite Channels During Crises in Supporting Political Knowledge for University Youth" . A Survey Study at the students of Kirkuk University submitted by Qusay Hammed Fahad.

Ali also mentioned that  the study dealt with one of the most important subjects in media to monitoring the role of political dialogue programmes in the Iraqi satellite channels during the crises in supporting the political knowledge at the university youth through reporting events and crises in Iraq, showing that the study has been applied on a sample of students at the University of Kirkuk which represents the Iraqi university youth.

He added, the researcher has arrived at a number of findings and recommendations that would develop those programmes regarding the needs of university youth showing that the debate committee and the jury decided to accepting the thesis and grant him the master degree in media with the grade of "excellent"
