The College of Veterinary Medicine organizes a workshop on national standards for program accreditation.

The College of Veterinary Medicine organized a workshop entitled "Discussing the Mechanism for Collecting Documents Related to National Standards for Accrediting Veterinary Medicine Programs and Their Importance in Preparing the Self-Assessment Report for the Academic Years (2024-2025 and 2025-2026) by Adopting a Well-Thought-Out Action Plan to Achieve Full Accreditation." The workshop was held under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Shahd Abbas Al-Attar, and in the presence of members of the College's Program Accreditation Committee. The workshop included a lecture delivered by Ms. Nada Ibrahim, Director of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division at the College, in which she addressed the importance of the self-assessment report and its close relationship to program accreditation, and how to update the report annually to transform the weaknesses identified through the ministerial committee's report into strengths to meet challenges and seize opportunities to achieve full accreditation after the College obtained conditional accreditation. Al-Attar recommended adopting the ministerial committee's observations and considering them as a framework for work in the coming years by incorporating them into the work of the branches, divisions, and administrative units at the College.
