English The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Professor Dr. Shahd Abbas Al-Attar, received Dr. Mansour Ahmed, Director of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Kirkuk Governorat.
This visit stems from the principle of cooperation between state institutions and aims to strengthen collaboration between the college and the veterinary teaching hospital. Several topics were discussed, most importantly addressing the problem of stray dogs in residential areas and ensuring the ongoing monitoring of the dog shelter. Additionally, the summer training program for students was discussed, with the intention of assigning them to veterinary clinics operating within Kirkuk Governorate. Furthermore, the joint collaboration for the World Veterinary Day celebration, which is planned to be held at the college, was also discussed. Professor Al-Attar expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the hospital administration's efforts in providing full support to the students.
