English Under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Professor Dr. Shahd Abbas Al-Attar, fifth-year students at the college performed a variety of surgical procedures on a diverse range of animals as part of their practical surgery exam. The Head of the Surgery and Obstetrics Department, Dr. Mustafa Qasim, explained that the students were divided into six groups, each performing surgery on a different type of animal. This initiative aims to enhance the practical and scientific skills of the veterinarians, in addition to monitoring post-operative patient care within the college's animal facility.
