The College of Veterinary Medicine obtains national accreditation

The President of Kirkuk University, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, announced at a press conference held at the university's headquarters that the College of Veterinary Medicine has received national accreditation, becoming the first college in Kirkuk Governorate and the first at Kirkuk University to achieve this distinction. The President commended the efforts of the college's administration, represented by the Dean, Professor Dr. Shahd Abbas Al-Attar, and all faculty and staff members, who have reaped the rewards of scientific success, practical excellence, and diligent administrative work. This achievement follows the decision by the National Council for the Accreditation of Veterinary Medicine Programs to grant accreditation to the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine program at Kirkuk University.

For her part, Dr. Al-Attar expressed her gratitude to the President for his continuous support of the college, adding that this accomplishment is a testament to the dedicated efforts of the faculty and staff, as well as their ongoing administrative work, all aimed at elevating the college's prestigious academic and scientific research to international standards.
