The College of Education for Pure Sciences Organizes a Scientific Symposium on "Real Content... and Misleading Content in the Digital Age"
The University Psychological Counseling Division organized a scientific symposium entitled "Real Content and Misleading Content in the Digital Age," aimed at educating students on the importance of distinguishing between accurate information and inaccurate information spread across the internet and social media.
The symposium addressed the concept of real content based on reliable sources and verifiable evidence, versus misleading content that relies on false or distorted information that may affect societal awareness. It also reviewed the most prominent forms of misinformation, such as fake news, misleading headlines, and fabricated content, and highlighted the individuals behind misleading content.
The symposium shed light on the reasons for the spread of this type of content.
