The College of Education for Pure Sciences Holds a Workshop on the Duties of the Supervising Teacher Towards the Student Teacher
The College of Education for Pure Sciences held a workshop titled "The Duties of the Supervising Teacher Towards the Student Teacher During the Training Period," presented by Prof. Dr. Muna Hassani Mohammed, Lecturer Dr. Saja Sami Nassif, and Assist. Lecturer Jwan Shakoor Mohammed.
The workshop addressed the vital role played by the supervising teacher in refining the skills of student teachers through practical guidance inside the classroom, introducing them to effective teaching methods and ways of dealing with students. It also highlighted the importance of continuous evaluation based on clear educational foundations, contributing to developing the student's performance and improving their level.
The workshop's topics also focused on the necessity for the supervisor to exhibit professional and ethical behavior to be a role model, in addition to providing a stimulating educational environment that supports creativity and develops students' capabilities, which positively reflects on preparing competent educational cadres.
