The College of Education for Pure Sciences Organizes a Scientific Visit to the Central Public Library

The College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a scientific field visit to the Central Public Library in Kirkuk, with the participation of a number of the college's students and accompanied by a group of supervising professors, within the framework of enhancing the applied and cognitive aspects of the students.

The visit aimed to introduce students to the importance of public libraries and their role in supporting scientific research and developing academic culture, as well as exploring the mechanisms of organizing scientific sources and references and modern archiving methods.

The visit included a tour inside the library's departments, where the students were introduced to the various services it provides, including reading halls and electronic cataloging systems, in addition to identifying the most important available scientific references that serve their specializations.

The supervisors emphasized the importance of such activities in linking the theoretical aspect with practical application, and encouraging students to benefit from the scientific sources available outside the university campus, which contributes to developing their research and academic skills.
