College of Education for Pure Sciences Holds Welcoming Ceremony for First-Year Students

The University Psychological Guidance Unit, in collaboration with the Department of Physics, held a special welcoming ceremony for first-year students of the Physics Department.

The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mustafa Raji Ayed; the Head of the Physics Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Mohammed; the Scientific Vice Dean (or Scientific Associate Dean), Professor Dr. Sabah Jalal; and a large gathering of the College’s faculty members and personnel.

The ceremony featured a welcoming address delivered by the Dean, who congratulated the students on their admission and the commencement of their academic journey. He underscored the necessity of diligence and discipline, and encouraged the students to continuously strive for knowledge acquisition.

This activity is part of the College’s broader commitment to supporting new students and integrating them into the academic environment. The event also sought to foster the spirit of commitment, cooperation, and team cohesion among them throughout their entire course of study.
