Vision

The College strives to advance educational and scientific knowledge to serve society. The College aspires to become the best College of Education for Pure Sciences in Iraq and the Arab world by graduating creative educators who serve as future leaders and act as a conduit for innovative educational and scientific ideas that contribute to developing high scientific and educational capabilities within the community.

This Vision is founded on the understanding that the teacher's role is shifting from a knowledge conveyor and lecturer to a learning facilitator, an educational process manager and planner, and a developer of creativity, self-learning, and teamwork. Furthermore, the College considers quality and distinguished educators as the basis of its success and mission achievement, recognizing that the College of Education for Pure Sciences holds a cultural and practical societal role that extends beyond merely preparing teachers.

Mission

The College's mission is defined by developing concepts and implementing procedures for preparing educational cadres and advancing education at all levels, in cooperation with the University’s colleges and relevant ministries. Direct tasks derived from this mission include: continuous preparation and development of educators; promoting scientific and educational research to generally produce knowledge; and establishing policies and programs that serve and develop the community.

Objectives (Goals)

  1. Preparing educators through high-quality programs across all specialized fields, ensuring they are proficient in their academic specialization, possess strong skills in presenting their material and interacting with students, and work to create a democratic educational atmosphere within their classroom and school.

  2. Conducting scientific and educational research that produces genuine knowledge, addresses current scientific and pedagogical issues, and offers solutions to the challenges facing education.

  3. Working to improve the educational and administrative process within the College in a manner that contributes to achieving the College’s Vision and Mission.

  4. Updating the College’s study systems and programs in light of modern scientific trends to allow for the raising of the College's performance level.

  5. Adopting the concept of Total Quality Management (TQM) and working to apply it within the College.
