Faculty students showcase their creativity at the Visual Arts Festival

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Omran Jamal Hassan, the Faculty of Law and Political Science took part in the Visual Arts and Freehand Drawing Festival held in the corridors of the University Presidency, attended by a notable gathering of academics and artists.
The Faculty’s pavilion showcased a distinctive collection of artistic and expressive paintings that reflected the depth of the students’ creative ideas, with entries ranging from freehand drawing to various schools of visual art.
The exhibited works were well received by the attendees, as the students succeeded in translating their humanistic and aesthetic visions into artworks that added an atmosphere of beauty and creativity, affirming that academic excellence in law and politics goes hand in hand with artistic talent and the ability to express oneself freely.
This participation forms part of the Faculty’s plan to support student potential and develop non-curricular creative aspects, thereby fostering a spirit of innovation and pride in artistic identity within the university community.
For her part, Assistant Lecturer Zainab Ibrahim Hassan, Head of the Student Activities Division, emphasised that this participation forms part of the Division’s ongoing efforts to create a suitable environment for students to express their potential and hone their talents, thereby contributing to the enhancement of the Faculty’s cultural and artistic presence across all university forums.
