New graduates repeat the legal oath

Under the patronage and in the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Omran Jamal Hassan, and under

the supervision and attendance of the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Murad Saeb Mahmoud, the Faculty of Law and Political Science organised a grand ceremony for its graduating students to take their legal oath for the current academic year, in the presence of a select group of faculty members, academics and prominent figures, as well as the families of the students being honoured. The ceremony was held at the Cultural Centre in Kirkuk.
The university president gave a speech in which he congratulated the students and their families on this achievement, emphasising that the oath is not merely a formality, but a solemn pledge before God and society to uphold the truth and protect justice. He also stressed the university's role in providing legal institutions with highly qualified national cadres with excellent academic and ethical qualifications.
For his part, the Dean of the Faculty delivered a speech in which he offered valuable advice to the graduates, urging them to adhere to the integrity and ethics of the profession and to uphold the constitution and laws in force in their future careers, expressing the faculty's pride in graduating a new generation of defenders of the law.
At the end of the ceremony, the graduating students recited the legal oath, pledging to God and the nation to perform their duties with sincerity and honesty. The festival concluded with the honoring of outstanding students in an atmosphere of joy and pride.
