The Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmed Abd Ibrahim Al-Obeidi, inaugurated a festival for engineering innovations entitled “Kirkuk Technology Festival” in the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Glenk Akram Omar, and several college deans and professors, with the participation of several Iraqi Universities.The festival included a display of about ninety engineering projects of various devices by college students in the civil and electrical departments, an exhibition of plastic arts, artistic paintings, and folk dishes, as well as a competition in the chess game.The festival continued for four days, starting from Sunday, with the participation of the universities of "Baghdad, Karbala, Diyala, and Anbar", and a scientific and cultural competition was held to obtain first place in the festival.
