English The College of Engineering achieved a distinguished scientific accomplishment by securing third place in the Creativity and Excellence Award for Engineering Colleges in Iraqi Universities, held for top graduates and departments included in the competitive assessment exams.
The college’s participation was represented by the student (Dler Luqman Najm), one of our college graduates for the academic year 2024–2025, who represented the college in the award's examination, achieving third place out of 31 participating universities and 100 students.
On this occasion, the Deanship of the College of Engineering, represented by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Chelang Akram Omar, expressed deep pride in this achievement, praising the distinguished scientific efforts of the Civil Engineering Department faculty, and the support and follow-up provided by the Scientific Assistant, Dr. (Abdulmajeed Abdulhamid Mohammed), and the Presidency of the Civil Engineering Department, for their role in overcoming obstacles and facilitating the student's participation in the competition held at Al-Mustansiriya University in Baghdad.
The College Deanship also commended the efforts of the faculty member (Shivan Tahir Nasreddin) for accompanying and supporting the student during the participation period, emphasizing the college's constant keenness to support its students and nurture their scientific capacities, contributing to the advancement of academic excellence and creativity.
