A Scientific Workshop Entitled: (The Impact of Musical Rhythmic Exercises on Developing Temporal Accuracy in Kindergarten Children)

 

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Basic Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Ali, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Basic Education, University of Kirkuk, in cooperation with the Kirkuk Directorate of Education, organized a scientific workshop entitled (The Impact of Musical Rhythmic Exercises on Developing Temporal Accuracy in Kindergarten Children), delivered by Dr. Sawsan Muwaffaq Tawfiq.
The workshop was conducted with distinguished attendance from educational and teaching staff working in the field of early childhood education. This comes within ongoing efforts to develop the skills of teaching personnel and enhance the quality of the educational process at the early childhood stage.
The workshop also aimed to highlight the importance of musical rhythmic exercises in developing children’s cognitive and temporal abilities, given their effective role in improving concentration, attention, and the regulation of motor rhythm, as well as enhancing coordination between movement and auditory perception.
Finally, the workshop focused on how to effectively integrate musical activities within the classroom environment using scientific and pedagogical approaches that contribute to building a well-rounded child personality.
