A Scientific Seminar Entitled: (Similarities and Differences between the Regulations and Instructions of Academic Promotions No. (162) of 2017 and No. (10) of 2025)

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Basic Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Ali, and within the framework of the ongoing efforts to develop the academic environment and enhance the quality of scientific research, the Division of Continuing Education organized a scientific seminar entitled: “Similarities and Differences between the Regulations and Instructions of Academic Promotions No. (162) of 2017 and No. (10) of 2025),” delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Iyad Salim Mansour.
This seminar comes in line with keeping pace with legislative updates that regulate the process of academic promotions. It aims to conduct a comparative analytical study between the academic promotion instructions issued under Resolution No. (162) of 2017 and the amended or newly introduced instructions under Resolution No. (10) of 2025.
The seminar also focused on highlighting aspects of development and change in the adopted criteria and regulations, as well as their impact on the quality of scientific research, publication requirements, and mechanisms of academic evaluation.
