College of Basic Education – University of Kirkuk 
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Basic Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Ali, and the Head of the Scientific Committee, Dr. Najm al-Din Abd al-Sattar Sadiq, along with its esteemed members, the Scientific Committee in the Department of History held its regular meeting on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
The meeting was convened to discuss a number of scientific and academic issues included on the agenda, in a manner that contributes to advancing the scientific and research process at the College.
The meeting addressed several important themes, including matters related to scientific research, the development of academic plans, and the follow-up of accreditation and quality requirements, in addition to discussing proposals aimed at supporting both faculty members and students.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Scientific Committee affirmed its commitment to implementing the recommendations that were agreed upon, in line with the directives of the College Deanship and its vision for enhancing the quality of higher education and achieving the desired academic objectives.
