The College of Arts Celebrates the Pioneers of Radio and Television from Kirkuk Governorate

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Omran Jamal Hassan, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Omer Najm Al-Deen Enjeh, the College of Arts / Continuing Education Division, in collaboration with the Department of Media, organized an educational and dialogue-based media seminar on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, to celebrate the pioneers of radio and television from Kirkuk Governorate. The seminar was titled (The Role of the Media in Educating Members of Society).

The media pioneers, Hashim Abdullah Al-Jabari, Idris Sayhood Al-Obaidi, and Nabil Koozehji, shared their experiences in radio and television, highlighting the role of media professionals in Kirkuk in enriching the media movement in Iraq.

At the conclusion of the seminar, the Dean of the College presented plaques and certificates of appreciation to the media pioneers, in recognition of their contributions over the decades.
