College of Arts Council Holds Meeting to Discuss Key Issues

The College of Arts at the University of Kirkuk held the second meeting of its seventh (open) session, chaired by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Omer Najmuddin Inja. The meeting was attended by the vice-deans, department heads, and the Secretary of the College Council to deliberate on several important matters concerning the college and its members.

The meeting addressed the processing of postgraduate students' results for the 2025-2026 academic year. It also covered mechanisms for handling cases of academic failure and "incomplete" status to award "decision marks" (grace marks) in accordance with university and ministerial regulations.

Furthermore, the Council Chairman commended the efforts of the postgraduate examination committee for successfully completing their duties with excellence. The council also discussed the reduction of tuition fees for both morning and evening programs; the Dean directed that students' circumstances be taken into consideration according to the established guidelines and instructions.
