Scientific Symposium at the Faculty of Arts Discusses the Iraq Development Road and Connectivity Prospects

The Faculty of Arts at the University of Kirkuk hosted a scientific symposium entitled "The Iraq Development Road Project: Regional and International Connectivity Prospects."

The symposium addressed the project's comprehensive importance as a cornerstone of Iraq’s strategy for geographic and economic repositioning as a global hub connecting the East and West. The discussions focused on several strategic pillars, most notably establishing Iraq as a competitive international trade corridor relative to the Suez Canal and optimizing freight transport time between Asia and Europe. Additionally, the seminar emphasized the project's role in revitalizing the national economy through revenue diversification, large-scale employment generation, and the promotion of regional integration.
