The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Kirkuk, in cooperation with the University Psychological Counseling Division, organized a student workshop entitled "Suicide Prevention." The session was presented by Assistant Professor Shuaib Sharif Mohammed and Nurhan Rushdi Saaduddin, Head of the University Psychological Counseling Division.
This workshop was part of the division's activities and aimed to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and define the concept of suicide along with its psychological and social causes. It focused on prevention methods and the vital role of families and educational institutions in supporting individuals to mitigate psychological risks.
The workshop witnessed significant interaction from the attendees, contributing to the enhancement of community awareness regarding this crucial humanitarian issue.
