The College of Medicinal and Industrial Plants at University of Kirkuk launched the activities of Entrepreneurship Week in conjunction with the Global Entrepreneurship Week, in a step aimed at promoting a culture of innovation, developing students’ entrepreneurial skills, and linking educational outcomes with labor market requirements.
Professor Dr. Khalid Khalil Ahmed, Dean of the College, emphasized that the launch of Entrepreneurship Week comes in line with the directions of the Ministry of Higher Education and the Presidency of the University of Kirkuk to support the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students. He noted that the college seeks to prepare a generation capable of transforming scientific ideas into applied projects that serve the agricultural sector as well as the pharmaceutical and food industries, contributing to supporting the national economy and achieving sustainable development.
