The Kirkuk University Council, chaired by University President Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and attended by his Scientific Assistant Professor Dr. Abdullah Ali Mohammed Tamim, and all deans of the colleges, hosted a student representative to hear the problems facing students, address their needs, identify obstacles, and convey ministerial directives to the students. The representative presented several points aimed at raising the level of education, developing scientific laboratories, and providing equipment, in addition to discussing the examination procedures and the study system. The Council affirmed its commitment to meeting all student needs and directed the deans to work on implementing them directly. It also resolved to approach the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding some of the proposals presented by the Kirkuk University student representative.
