The Faculty of Arts organized a workshop entitled "The Role of Universities in Supporting and Caring for People with Disabilities."
The workshop aimed to highlight the concept of people with disabilities, their various types, their needs, and how to interact with them in a way that guarantees their right to dignity and participation in a free and dignified life. It also emphasized the necessity of providing resources that facilitate their continued participation, communication, and integration into society.The workshop recommended raising cultural awareness of the important role universities play in integrating this group into society and providing them with the means to achieve this integration and continue their lives.
