The College of Law and Political Science, in cooperation with the Scientific Integrity and Electronic Plagiarism Unit at Kirkuk University, organized a scientific seminar on the integrity of scientific research and the mechanisms of electronic plagiarism detection. The seminar aimed to enhance the quality of intellectual output from academics and researchers and to provide a roadmap for researchers to avoid falling into the trap of fraudulent publication. The seminar's main themes addressed the concept of scientific integrity and its importance in improving the ranking of academic institutions, while also highlighting the technical tools and internationally recognized databases (such as Scopus and Clarivate) used to verify the credibility of journals.
