A scientific seminar entitled "The Use of Information Systems in Geographic Urban Planning" was held at the College of Arts, University of Kirkuk.The seminar featured a presentation on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) as a pivotal tool in modern urban planning. GIS integrates spatial and descriptive data to analyze urban patterns, enabling the visualization of future scenarios, monitoring of environmental impacts, and improvement of quality of life, thus ensuring sustainable and organized urban development.
