In the presence of the President of Kirkuk University, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences organized its first scout camp for Rovers and Guides to foster leadership and teamwork among students. The event was also attended by the deans of the various colleges. The University President stated, "This event reflects the university's commitment to enhancing student activities, developing leadership skills among its youth, cultivating a culture of self-reliance and cooperation, and strengthening the human, social, and national bonds between faculty and students." The camp included numerous scouting activities, most notably the raising of the Iraqi flag, inspections, morning exercises, a variety of sports and cultural events, recreational programs, scientific competitions, and a handicrafts exhibition.
