The College of Nursing at the University of Kirkuk organized an awareness seminar on women's rights, with the participation of a number of faculty members and students. The seminar included a statement of the most important rights of women in the constitution and international agreements agreed upon in preserving their rights in terms of education and marriage, as well as the importance of ensuring their rights to an appointment and child custody.The symposium stressed the need to hold awareness seminars on a larger scale to raise the level of awareness among female students in universities and secondary schools and to provide greater opportunities for women.
