Under the supervision of the Scientific Oversight and Evaluation Authority at the Ministry of Higher Education, the Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Kirkuk, Dr. Hiwa Sattar Salih, and the Head of the Fundamentals of Nursing Branch, Dr. Janan Akbar Shukur, participated in the launching ceremony of "Programmatic Accreditation Standards for Iraqi Nursing Colleges According to National Standards," with the participation of deans and heads of departments from government and private nursing colleges and institutes.Dr. Hiwa Sattar Saleh said, "The standards include a number of basic axes, namely: the administration axis, the faculty axis, staff and staffing, the student's axis, the curriculum axis, and the educational outcomes axis."He added, "During the ceremony, the mechanism for applying to the national program standards was discussed as a starting point for obtaining program accreditation that conforms to the standards of nursing curricula in reputable international colleges, in addition to holding workshops to prepare evaluation reports."
