College of Art holds a festival to celebrate the Arabic language

The Faculty of Arts at the University of Kirkuk held a cultural festival to celebrate the International Day of the Arabic Language with the participation of the dean, faculty members, students, and academic and cultural figures.The Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Omar Najm al-Din Anjeh, said, The Arabic language is one of the official languages ​​globally, which was adopted by the United Nations in 1973, and all countries of the world must deal with and respect it as the language of the Holy Qur’an and the common language of understanding between Arab countries.The ceremony included an exhibition of handicrafts and art in the Arabic language that embodies the cultural and national identity, and an eloquent Arab poetry festival, as well as a theatrical performance on the Arabic language, through which he showed the beauty of the Arabic language, its importance, and the impact of its study on other human sciences.
