A Faculty Member from the University of Kirkuk Participates in a PhD Defense Committee at the University of Tikrit

Within the framework of distinguished academic presence and active participation in scholarly activities across Iraqi universities, Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Mahmoud Khalaf, a faculty member at the College of Basic Education / University of Kirkuk, participated as a member of a PhD dissertation defense committee at the University of Tikrit / College of Education for Humanities. The dissertation was entitled: “The Effectiveness of an Educational Program Based on the Deep Learning Approach in Enhancing the Achievement of Students in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences in the Subject of Learning Thinking and Developing Their Cognitive Skills.”
This participation aims to shed light on one of the modern educational trends that seeks to develop teaching methods and enhance students’ cognitive abilities, thereby contributing to improving the outcomes of the educational process. Dr. Khalaf’s involvement in this academic defense represents an extension of his distinguished academic role and his active contributions to supporting scientific research. It also strengthens academic collaboration among Iraqi universities and promotes the exchange of scholarly expertise in a manner that serves the educational development of the country.
The Deanship of the College of Basic Education commends this academic participation, affirming its ongoing commitment to supporting its faculty members and encouraging their engagement in scientific and academic activities both within Iraq and abroad.
