College of Basic Education – University of Kirkuk 
The Dean of the College of Basic Education at the University of Kirkuk, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Ali, participated as a member of the Master’s thesis examination committee at the University of Kirkuk.
The thesis defense was held at the College of Education for Human Sciences – Department of History, on Monday, January 26, 2026.
The thesis was submitted by the student Abbas Walid Qasim Mohammed and was entitled:
“The Naqibs of the Abbasid Da‘wa and Its Most Prominent Missionaries: Their Biographies and Their Role in Public Life.”
The examination committee consisted of a distinguished group of professors specialized in Islamic history.
The committee members praised the objectivity of the research and its importance in shedding light on the intellectual, social, and organizational conditions of the early Abbasid period. They also provided a number of scholarly observations aimed at improving the thesis and enhancing its academic value.
At the conclusion of the defense, the student was awarded the Master’s degree after completing the required revisions.
