The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Basic Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Sukayna Ali Karim, participated in the defense of a PhD dissertation held at the College of Law / University of Tikrit, entitled:
“The Role of the Judicial Bodies of Constitutional Review in Ensuring the Constitutionality of Laws: A Comparative Study between Iraq and Russia.”
The defense was conducted in a rigorous academic atmosphere, during which the researcher presented the topic of the dissertation and highlighted its main comparative legal issues, explaining the role of judicial bodies specialized in constitutional review in safeguarding the supremacy of the Constitution and ensuring the constitutionality of laws. The examining committee praised the scholarly effort made and the significant results and recommendations included in the dissertation.
At the conclusion of the defense, the committee decided to approve the dissertation and awarded the researcher the PhD degree in Constitutional Law.
