College of Basic Education – University of Kirkuk 
The College of Basic Education, in collaboration with the Al-Asr Center for Studies and Public Opinion Polling, organized a scientific seminar titled "The Responsibility of Thot Between Freedom and Social Commitment." Assistant Professor Dr. Sakina Ali Karim represented the college, and the seminar witnessed the participation of professors, researchers, and students from various disciplines.
The seminar addressed important topics related to the balance between freedom of thot and the duty to adhere to societal values and standards, reviewing contemporary intellectual challenges and ways to enhance societal awareness thru responsible thought. The discussions also focused on the role of educational institutions in instilling the concepts of intellectual openness and respect for social principles.
The seminar concluded with practical recommendations to enhance constructive dialog and intellectual responsibility, contributing to the development of societal thot and supporting the progress of higher education.
